Pros: Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress is comfortable and perfect. Cons: none yet
A few months ago, hubby and I finally gave in to my teenage son's wishes for a new set of mattresses. The mattress and boxspring were delivered exactly 3 months and one day ago today and I am pleased to say that we love the Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbr ...
Pros: Durable, easy to clean, you SLEEP. Cons: May become uncomfortable for side layers.
I considered getting a regular perfect sleep mattress, but after seeing that the Fallbrooke was a bit more consistent throughout the top, not to mention the deal the dealer gave us, I decided to go with this one. The California King of course is very...
Pros: They are very polite Cons: They will tell you anything and there is no action taken.
After purchasing a Serta King-Size mattress we noticed the mattress had "collapsed" on the sides after only a few weeks of use. I had to place pillows on the edge to keep from rolling off the bed at night. We contacted the store we purchased the ...
Pros: Serta uses quality materials. The perfect Sleeper is comfortable, fire resistant, and benefits your health Cons: The serta may price in the thousands.
I purchased a Serta Perfect Sleeper about 14 months ago; I was having a hard time sleeping and was waking up in the morning sore, tired and with headaches. I defiantly needed some kind of different support for my body; I was always told from my parents ...
I paid $952. for a Serta pillow top 8 years ago. Immediately the mattress began to sag in the middle. It was flipped on a regular basis. The store came out and replaced it at about six months old and the new one also began to sag. Unfortunately, I had ...
Pros: Comfortable in the beginning Cons: Sagging problem
I purchased the Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillowtop in July 2003 from Sears in San Bruno. I was told that this is the top Serta Mattress. After trying for several months, I started noticing that the mattress sags on the right-hand side (the side that I ...
Pros: Comfort and style. Cons: Mattress cover con.
The Serta Perfect Sleeper is one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. It felt as if I were floating in thin-air all night. I usually wake in the middle of the night and retreat downstairs to snack, due to a bad sleep. With the Serta, I didn't wake once. I found a really good deal at a local franchise furniture store, with delivery I paid for a queen mattress and a split box spring-$700. You cannot even feel your partner beside you on this particular bed. Be leery of the mattress cover con game that the furniture store attempt to get you on. For this mattress,I found a mattress cover for $20 elsewhere, at the furniture store it was $70, they thought I was a sucker. Overall, the bed is excellent. Sweet dreams!
First mistake is buying a pillow top by ozzie679 ,Jun 22 '07
Pros: Excellent support and quality innerspring. Cons: pillow tops are bad, no matter who the maker is
5 years ago we purchased a Serta pillow top and got terrible body sags. We purchased it in Minnesota. Serta and the store stood behind the product, so we switched to a Serta cushion firm set. After one year, the bed is working out great! I will definitely by Serta again. But not a pillow top...from any company.
Pros: Good while it lasts Cons: There's no customer service and manufacturer's warrantee was worthless.
Our Serta Perfect Sleep was comfortable, but after about 5 years of relatively heavy use, one edge broke down. The padding was falling out of the whole in it, and a spring came through. The store where we purchased our mattress was out-of-business, so we counted on the warrantee of the manufacturer. We assumed Serta was a quality company...we were wrong.
Don't count on the manufacture's warrantee, if you're thinking of buying Serta.
Be warned: CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST, and the MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTEE WAS WORTHLESS!
The customer service phone number, on their website, refers you back to itself, and there's no way to talk with anyone. We finally chucked our mattress and bought another mattress from a different manufacturer, through a dept store. It was more expensive than the discount shops, but the guarantee of the store was worth the extra cost.
Pros: Comfortable, supportive. Cons: I haven't found any yet but will update if I do
I bought my mattress 6 months ago and have never slept better. I don't toss and turn anymore. No more stiffness in my back and legs. I am very pleased with my serta.
BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT BUY A SERTA by want2sleep ,Jan 18 '07
Pros: After I got the CEO staff involved, customer service suddenly became more responsive. Cons: Customer Service is not responsive. Two defective beds in four years. Product quality is poor.
I bought a SERTA King mattress for $1000 four years ago.
It was determined to be defective after two years of use.
It was replaced with a "comparable" SERTA bed. It also was determined defective after a little over two years of use. They want to replace the 2nd defective bed with another "comparable" bed. SERTA customer service is terrible. These people are not responsive and don't care about the customer. DO NOT BUY A SERTA.
I will never buy Serta again. It was definitely the worst $1500 I ever spent. by lifeistoomuch ,Oct 16 '06
Pros: I really have nothing nice to say about Serta and their mattresses. Cons: They have lost a customer for life.
We bought a Serta feather bed and it was uncomfortable the first night we slept on it. The store would not take returns for 30 days in which we started getting headaches and backaches. After the 30 days they would not honor the take back because it did not sink past a certain point. A really bad experience. The worst $1500 I ever spent. I feel the same way about the store that I purchased it from. I feel that Serta should have recalled these beds and replaced them with a mattress that one could actually sleep in. The mattress dipped in the middle creating aches and pains throughout the body.
Pros: there is no pro to this mattress nor the bricks work ethics Cons: sagged mattress with in 2 weeks of delivery.
i purchased the perfect sleeper approximately 1 year ago from the brick. from the first week of delivery, the mattress sagged, it sagged in such a way that now i am disputing the brick about the warranty, the 10 year non pro-rated warranty. their technicians came to look at the mattress and did their work, i did a follow up call to the brick and was told that their was a problem with the mattress from one of their sales people, then was told that it didn't meet the manufactures requirement. i am not satisfied with this product or the bricks conduct.
Horrible Serta Mattress in Texas! by klchieri ,Mar 22 '07
Pros: None Cons: Sorry craftsmanship, Mattress does not hold up long term.
I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I bought my mattress. I bought this Serta King from Star Furniture 4 years ago. I have told my husband from the day they installed it, I hate it. Now 4 years later there are depressions on both sides of the bed. When the bed is made there are visible depressions. I wake each day with excruciating back and neck pain. Forget about sleeping on my tummy. I probably couldn't walk if I did that. I recently contacted Star. They sent a rep. They are going to replace the mattress. Upon reading the reviews I am not very hopeful for a long term resolution. Maybe I'll get the replacement, sell it as new and get a Sealy Posturepedic.........
Pros: Pretty covering Cons: softened too much too fast!!!
We purchased a 2,100 serta "PERFECT DAY" fancy, pretty cover is all we got. I have a bad back and the first few weeks I was so happy not to wake up in pain at night and in the morning. A few weeks is all it took to "soften" up. I am in a lot of pain again. Serta said it was normal for the bed to soften! TOO BAD, "IT IS A COMFORTABILITY" problem, NOT a warrnty PROBLEM. NEVER WILL BUY ANOTHER SERTA!!
