Pros: Stylish, Great features Cons: Heavy, No case available
I purchased the HP Pavilion HDX Entertainment Series computer primarily as a desktop replacement (previously owned an earlier model Dell). My goals for the new purchase were to allow occasional portability (5-10 times per year) of a system ...

Pros: Very reliable, good quality, nice look and feel, many ports, 4 USB ports Cons: Little heavy, cannot fit in a regular laptop bag, not scratch protectant, less warranty
I purchased this laptop last month for my personal entertainment use. The laptop is really slim, nice, simple, cute and beautiful cosmetic look. Very easy to use and have almost all functionalities and ports. Since it has 2 GB RAM, it is really super ...

Giant laptop, giant satisfaction!
by twhitestone ,Aug 05 '08
Pros: High fit and finish, beautiful screen, great sound. Cons: Heavy, big. Will strike envy in the hearts of all who see it.
I bought this laptop at Best Buy, also bought 2 2GB chips so that I could run 4GB of memory for Windows 64-bit. Very impressed with the quality of the product, including its packaging and its documentation. This is a very high-end consumer product, and it has the touch and feel of one. It is enormous, which for me is fine as it will be leaving my desk very rarely. Just in case though, I have found a bag for it (something that others writing opinions have not been able to do) at http://www.sfbags.com/.
The sound is the best I've ever heard in a laptop, and the built-in camera and dual microphones work very well. The screen is... amazing. I love the dual-hinge that connects the screen to the base, it is a great feature.
This is a very impressive, very high-quality, and very heavy laptop. I love it!

Worth every penny and lives up to the hype!
by Vinny_C ,Oct 17 '07
Pros: Beautiful, big and powerful Cons: Heavy and big so you don't want to carry this around every day.
Great desktop replacement that is also portable. First off, this is not a "laptop" that you want to travel often with. It's heavy (15.5lbs) and big (20" screen). But its great to replace your current clunky tower computer with all its cords and wires hanging all over the place. It has a full size keyboard, beautiful screen, incredible sound quality and does everything that any powerful desktop can do, but it can be carried around with ease and is the only computer you will need. Worth every penny...I love it.

I love this little guy
by marklat21 ,Sep 26 '08
Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Vibrating, Feels good in your lap Cons: The fan doesnt stay on long enough no secure software so I can hide directories
What a wonderful computer. I used it even when I was backpacking. It was rugged, firm, and I love the feel. When it's in my lap I get that schoolgirl giggle it feels so right. The warmth of the powersupply and the vibration of the fan is enough to make me smile in any weather. The best thing about this little guy is that it is very discreet. My work bought me this as a gift for saving them from disaster. Once I told my boss to always take a backup tape home in his lunch box. Then one day we had a fire and he called me all in a panic. I said, "hey, go look in your lunchbox" ... so out of the deepest gratitude he bought this for me. or I stole it, I can't exactly recall now..
